Meet Jana Della Rosa

Jana is a Christian Conservative Republican known for her level-headed, pragmatic approach to policy decisions.  She was elected to the Arkansas House of Representatives by District 90 in November of 2014.  Her name has since become synonymous with campaign finance transparency after her successful 3-year fight to implement mandatory online filing for all state-level candidates.  She is also known for standing up to powerful special interest groups, always putting Arkansas and her district first. During her tenure she has served as a member of the City, County, & Local Affairs Committee, the Education Committee, the Joint Performance Review Committee, and the Joint Budget Committee, as well as the Public Transportation Committee, the Advanced Communications & Information Technology Committee and the Joint Audit Committee.  She has consistently supported limited government, voting for deregulation and the largest income tax reduction in state history.  She continues to be a staunch defender of your constitutional rights, traditional family values, and the sanctity of life.

Jana is a native of Northwest Arkansas. Born and raised in Springdale, she graduated from Springdale High School in 1994. She then attended the University of Arkansas where she met and married her husband Russell, a native of Tontitown. They both graduated in 2000; Jana with a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering and Russell with a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering.

Upon graduation, there were extremely few Industrial Engineering positions available in Northwest Arkansas. Rather than move out of state to accept job offers in Texas, Jana and Russell chose to remain near their family in NWA. Jana changed careers, accepting an entry level sales analyst position with Ozark Consulting and Marketing. Afterward she continued her 12 year career in the Walmart vendor community in sales at Church & Dwight Co., Inc., a New Jersey based CPG company.

In 2006, Jana had her first child, Reagan, and the family moved to Rogers. In 2011, their second son, Riley, was born. Just a few short months afterward, Jana left her job at Church & Dwight to be a stay-at-home mom.  In 2014, when her youngest son was old enough to attend preschool, Jana entered politics by running for State Representative for District 90; the position she holds today.

Jana enjoys spending time with her family, Razorback sports, walking, baking, reading and being outdoors. She and her family are members of the Church of Christ.
